Overview
The role is the functional Global Head of Production Data Platform under Core Banking Services domain within Corporate Bank Technology where you will be responsible for a global team with presence in India, Germany and US and provide production services for Deutsche Bank's key data platforms which stores payment and booking data. These strategic data platforms have a large number of interfaces and form a core part of Corporate Bank data strategy.
The role requires a Vice President with a strong technical background and experience with running large teams (internal & external) bringing dedication across service transition, service operations and continual service improvement, transformation initiatives, particularly a migration to the SRE model whilst managing the platforms to agreed business requirements.
You will be highly visible to senior stakeholders in the Business, Ops and CIO organizations. Being fully engaged in business disrupting events (major incidents) and proactive relationship management, executive communication as the local face of production, you will also play a key role developing our workforce strengthening the Engineering Culture and Skills (Early Detection, Automation / Self-Healing), including the influence of key stakeholders surrounding production such as Application Development, Infrastructure and Shared Platforms - including senior management.

• Responsible for the oversight of key incidents & problems, within the Corporate Bank Data Platform portfolio. Includes communication & stakeholder management around all high-priority incidents
• Understand emerging trends and seeking to proactively address with the Global Production Portfolio owners (People, Process, Tools)
• Delivering the Production operating model transformation to SRE
• Change Governance - Oversee major change and day to day running of the Change Approval Boards as appropriate
• Works with Delivery Services eg (Fabric, Infrastructure) on improvements to service availability and resilience How You'll Lead
• People leadership and management of ~17 Full-time equivalent team + vendor staff in the Corporate Bank Data Platform Portfolio. Including People & Talent development in country, support / execution of the Production Services Transformation
• Partner / Influence stakeholders globally (Tech Debt, Efficiency, Culture + Skills agenda)
• Experienced leader, capable of setting & selling strategy and direction Skills You'll Need
• Strong Experience across the Software Development Life-Cycle and the associated control gates
• Good understanding of Production technologies / big data tools (Kafka,Elastic Search, Splunk, Clickhouse)
• Highly experienced with production application support services, ITIL, and ITSM process, within a global production operations context
• Deep understanding of application development and/or support
• Educated to degree level (or overseas equivalent) Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Experience with complex IT infrastructure (UNIX, Database, Middleware, etc.) Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
